1. General

CDMA 1x is the first phase of cdma 2000 (data rate higher than IS-95, but lower than 2Mbit/s). It runs IP protocol over packet data transmission network and supports up to 308kibit/s data. It is new type of service developed from CDMA IS-95 network to provide packet data service for CDMA subscriber.

CDMA 1x is a kind of SR1 spread spectrum system. It is compatible with IS-95(A/B). Operators can easy to upgrade the network from IS-95 to CDMA 1x system to save their investment and maintenance cost.

Maximum CDMA 1x data transmission rate is 300Kb/s and actual operate data rate is about 100Kb/s (symmetric transmission). Provided TCP/IP protocol connections on this channel, CDMA 1x network can be applied on Internet connection and data transmission, etc..

H7000 Mobile Data System developed by Hongdian Technologies provides a high speed, always online, transparent virtual lease line between remote site and central network. The main application areas are focused on power supply and industry supervision, traffic control, securities, finance, utilities and so on. With the transparent data transmission feature and variety of applications, H7000 system can be configured as a virtual private network. H7000 CDMA 1x mobile data communication system consists of:

• H7710 GPRS/CDMA DTU: RS232/422/485 interface, common platform, supports GPRS or CDMA 1X network,

Ethernet/CDMA 1X network routing

By connecting your LAN and mobile network (WAN), you can share the CDMA 1x access to your LAN by built-in NAT (Network Address Translation) technologies. Therefore, multiple IP terminals or PCs can share the Internet access via H7661 CDMA 1x DTU.

Serial port/Ethernet converter:

For many non IP traditional terminals, you can also connect your non IP terminals to H7661 CDMA DTU via RS232/485 interface. After then, your non IP terminal will become a standard TCP/IP 10/100BaseT interface network equipment. It is possible to connect many non IP terminals to IP network at same place.
