1. General

At recent years, 2.5 Generation mobile network (GPRS and CDMA 1x) has been used by many countries, it provides a wide coverage and reliable mobile data channel for business and industry applications. Hongdian Technologies Co., Ltd. has developed an amazing and easy using H7710 GPRS/CDMA DTU for those applications.

H7710 GPRS/CDMA DTU can be operated at GPRS or CDMA 1x network by selecting a different radio module.

The maximum GPRS bandwidth can be 171.2Kb/s, but only 40~100Kb/s can be reached for actual application, it provides TCP/IP protocol connections.

The maximum CDMA 1x data transmission bandwidth is about 300Kb/s, the actual operating data rate can be 100Kb/s (symmetric transmission) in China Unicom network, it provides TCP/IP connections for Internet access and other data transmission.

H7710 GPRS/CDMA DTU is a new designed platform, supports GPRS or CDMA 1X network. There are many improvements, such as industrial class pluggable terminal, embedded RTOS and Enhanced EMI design.

H7000 GPRS/CDMA mobile data communication system contains:
