Vietnam ETE 2026 successfully concluded on July 17 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As one of the region’s leading exhibitions for the power and energy industry, the event brought together utilities, system integrators, technology providers, and industry professionals to explore the latest advancements in energy digitalization and smart infrastructure.
At Booth 179, Hall A1, Hongdian showcased its AIoT portfolio for smart grid and energy applications, highlighting how reliable connectivity, edge computing, edge AI, and cloud services can help power and energy operators build more intelligent, efficient, and resilient infrastructure.
During the exhibition, Hongdian presented a comprehensive range of industrial communication and AIoT solutions, including:
Visitors explored how Hongdian’s industrial routers, gateways, and cloud platform support a wide range of power and energy scenarios, including power distribution automation, smart substations, renewable energy systems, energy storage facilities, EV charging infrastructure, and remote asset monitoring.
With support for reliable cellular communications, industrial protocols, and centralized device management, these solutions help utilities improve operational visibility, simplify maintenance, and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.
One of the highlights at the booth was the live demonstration of the Smart 3000 Edge AI Gateway.
Powered by edge AI technology, the solution showcased real-time video analytics capabilities designed for intelligent safety monitoring in power and industrial environments. During the demonstration, the system was able to automatically identify and alert on multiple safety-related events, including:
By processing video data locally at the edge, the Smart 3000 enables fast response times, reduced bandwidth consumption, and enhanced data privacy while helping operators improve workplace safety and operational awareness.
The demonstration attracted significant attention from visitors interested in intelligent monitoring solutions for substations, distribution rooms, renewable energy sites, and other critical infrastructure facilities.
Throughout the three-day exhibition, Hongdian engaged with customers, partners, and industry experts from Vietnam and across the region. Discussions focused on key industry trends, including power distribution automation, smart grid communications, AI-powered operations, renewable energy integration, and the growing role of edge intelligence in modern energy infrastructure.
The event provided a valuable platform to exchange ideas, explore new opportunities, and demonstrate how AIoT technologies can support the evolving needs of the power and energy sector.
As the energy industry continues to embrace digitalization and intelligent operations, Hongdian remains committed to delivering innovative AIoT solutions that connect, manage, and optimize critical infrastructure.
Building on the momentum from Vietnam ETE 2026, Hongdian will continue working closely with customers and partners worldwide to advance the development of smarter, safer, and more connected power and energy systems.
